Maaya Sakamoto 2018 Live Tour All CLear in Taipei

This was an illustration I did as a gift for Maaya Sakamoto who had a concert in Taiwan last week. In the picture I posted, I took the origin and did several changes on it but mostly keeping the tasting of the traditional drawing.

She is one of my favorite Japanese Singers and Dubbings since I was a kid. I still remember when I was in elementary school, I sat on the chair beside the playground in the school, listening to her songs from a portable CD player and observing the sunset among the clouds.

I didn’t plan to do this illustration until I saw a post from the concert official, it announced the place where collecting the fans’ gifts to Maaya. I suddenly realized that I should do somethings too. Therefore I created this illustration from the emotion I love her works so much from the childhood to the moment right now.

Thank you Maaya, your voices and singings were phenomenal and stunning in the concert, I was so grateful to be there and experienced everything you gave to us. Hope y
