Rikuhachima Aru

Shachou! I wanted to draw her because of her unique and fascinating characteristics. While working on this piece, I started rendering it once I had decided on her gesture and the overall composition by rough linework. When the work was almost finished, I spent time considering whether the illustration should lean toward cooler or warmer tones.

This artwork will be featured in my upcoming artbook, which will be released at FF45. The book not only includes this illustration but also shows its draft, linework, and my thoughts throughout the drawing process. Besides, I also made this illustration into A5 art cards to go along with the artbook. Please feel free to visit my booth at P43P44 in FF45!
